Governor Doyle Announces Nearly 18-Fold Return on Tourism Marketing Grants
In Fiscal 2008, the Wisconsin Department of Tourism awarded more than $1.14 million in Joint Effort Marketing (JEM) grants to 51 non-profit organizations across the state. The competitive marketing grants, which help promote events and travel destinations, are credited with attracting more than $18 million in additional traveler spending to local economies in Wisconsin.
